This project actually started out as a school assignment, which asked us to make a device to accurately keep track of time, but i decided to take the opportunity to try to make a working wooden clock. Whats notable about this project is that unlike most of my other creations, i put aside a large amount of time for calculating dimensions and designing before actually starting work. The clock was able to accurately keep track of time to within 0.5 seconds, and depending on the height on which it was placed, it could run for an average of 45 seconds before the weight hit the floor. The clock is entirely made out of wood and screws, with some metal weights. My friend helped me finish the pendulum and base, as well as calibrate the whole device.
